The Holmdel Township Cultural Appreciation Committee will host its second international movie night and present the Singapore film “I Not Stupid” 7-10 p.m. May 6 at the Senior/Community Center, Crawfords Corner Road.
The comedy is about three boys who are placed in an academically low-level class, a dishonor to the family. The parents push the children to study hard, and the children suffer from the pressures placed upon them. The parents also suffer from the pressures placed upon them at work. The film teaches about misunderstandings between parents and children. Free popcorn will be provided, and a discussion will follow.
