In its efforts to go green in 2012, the Horse Park of New Jersey in Upper Freehold will no longer send membership renewals through the mail.
Those seeking membership renewals are asked to go to the website, download the membership form and send it in. After that, members will be on a list for all future email notices.
In other news, centered riding lessons will continue from 1 to 4 p.m. at the park, as long as the weather permits. Unmounted groundwork will continue during the winter at Rick’s Saddle Shop.
Committees are being formed to help with ideas to expand the use of the Horse Park. They will plan educational clinics, schooling events, train volunteers and help with social events. More information will be available on the website and in future email blasts.
In addition, plans are under way for the 10th Jersey Fresh International Three Day event, scheduled for May 10-13. Volunteers and ideas are welcome.
