The Party Dolls will perform on the Lincroft Village Green on June 8 as part of the annual Picnic in the Park celebration hosted by the Lincroft Village Green Association. The event will take place 1-5 p.m. and will feature free food, refreshments, entertainment, a clown, face painting and balloons. The Lincroft-based band Bad Parents will warm up the crowd before the Party Dolls’ performance of music from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.Attendees should bring chairs or blankets to sit on the lawn. American Recreational Military Services (ARMS) will host a benefit concert to see off members of the National Guard deploying from New Jersey. The concert will be held 4 p.m. tomidnight June 7 at the Stone Pony, 913 OceanAve., Asbury Park. This is the largest troop deployment since WorldWar II. The concert will be a six-string salute, and proceeds will support the shipping of boxes to troops as well as assisting families.
