The Monmouth County Veterans Services Office (CVSO) is available to assist veterans who are looking for a job.
“Our veterans have put their life on hold and on the line to defend our country and then come home to find themselves unemployed and struggling to find a job,” said Freeholder John P. Curley, liaison to the CVSO. “Our Veterans Services Office can assist our veterans by providing resources and guidance during their search for employment.”
The CVSO maintains an active list of companies who seek to hire veterans, job training programs available and resources in assisting veterans with their résumé and the interview process, according to a press release.
Veterans can stop by the office at 21 Main and Court Center, Freehold, from noon to 4 p.m., call 732-683-8675, or visit the Veterans Services section of the county website at www.visitmonmouth.com.
The Monmouth County Veterans Services Office works with other veterans organizations and military bases to ensure veterans get the benefits they are entitled to and to keep them up to date on the most current information from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, according to the press release.
