Family & Children’s Service (FCS), Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, has announced its holiday giving program, "Operation Sleighbells," is now under way.
FCS is seeking donations of new clothing, toys, books, CDs, gift certificates, and food for Monmouth and Ocean County families with children up to age 16, and approximately 100 homebound seniors.
Individuals may also "adopt" a family by purchasing specific toys and clothing items required by the family (all must be new). "Sleighbells" also features a winter coat drive of both new and used winter coats.
