The New Jersey Restaurant Association (NJRA) has teamed up with other state restaurant associations to kick off the second annual Share Our Strength Great American Dine Out, a weeklong program that raises money to feed children who are at risk of hunger. The week will run from Sept. 20-26.
Participating restaurants include: Bernards Inn, Bernardsville; Doris and Ed’s, Highlands; Joe’s Crab Shack, Lawrenceville; Park Avenue Bistro, Freehold; Rocky Hill Inn, Rocky Hill; The Frog and The Peach, New Brunswick; Tre Piani, Princeton; Verve Restaurant, Somerville.
Each year, more than 12 million children in America are at risk of hunger. Share Our Strength is the leading national organization that works to end childhood hunger in America. From Sept. 20-26, restaurants will donate a percentage of sales to Share Our Strength.
MaidPro, an international housecleaning company, wants to bring some good cheer to the world. The MaidPro franchise community is sponsoring a pre-season cheerleading competition that lasts through the end of September. The competition is open to all dance and cheerleading squads in the United States, and rewards the top three submissions with cash prizes of up to $2,500.

All teams that meet the criteria to compete are invited to create a routine based on the cheer MaidPro created, which can be found at www.maidpro.com/goodcheer. Groups are encouraged to be creative with their routines and interpretation of the cheer.

Scarinci Hollenbeck has announced that it has expanded its Monmouth County legal practice. The addition of attorneys Christopher J. Hanlon, Fredrick P. Niemann, Lauren D. Bercik and Bonnie M. Fitness Together of Freehold has partnered with the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties as a donor in support of Hunger Action Month.
Fitness Together of Freehold will host its first Calorie-a-Thon for clients to encourage burning calories in support of raising money to feed the hungry. The three clients with the highest number of calories burned over an eight-week period will have cash donations made on their behalf to the Food- Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Fitness Together will also be hosting a food drive in October where they will be collecting food donations made by clients and the public.

The Dittmar Agency, a Trusted Choice independent insurance agency in Freehold, in conjunction with an IIABNJ/Trusted Choice charity grant initiative, has donated $1,000 to the Monmouth County Historical Association (MCHA). The MCHA helps discover and preserve the history of Monmouth County.
