Dr. Steven A. Burman of Manalapan was a 2009 recipient of the Mastership of the Academy of Laser Dentistry. These honors were announced at the President’s Award Ceremony this spring in conjunction with the Academy of Laser Dentistry’s 16th annual conference held at the Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas. This designation is an acknowledgement of significant efforts achieved by members who have exemplified a high-level of knowledge about laser applications in dental science and patient treatment; only eight doctors received this honor in 2009. Currently, Dr. Burman is the president-elect of the academy and he will be installed as the president in April.
