Anthony Cammallere, of T&K Con-tractors Inc., Freehold, recently attended the “Remodelers Advantage Design/Build Workshop,” a three-day workshop focused on the design/build remodeling system. The workshop was held in Arlington, Mass., April 24-26.
Design/Build is a system through which contractors offer design and construction under one umbrella, with one company having accountability for the entire project from beginning to end. The Design/Build Workshop is a program of Remodelers Advantage Inc. of Laurel, Md., a consulting firm specializing in the remodeling industry.
Gary L. Mason, the managing partner of Klafter & Mason LLC, a law firm in Manalapan, was honored with the designation “super lawyer,” a peer-recommendation award that is jointly administered by the publications Law & Politics, of Minneapolis, and New Jersey Monthly, of Morristown. Results are published in an annual magazine, New Jersey Super Lawyers 2006, which was recently issued.
Mason is the only attorney specializing in business transactions and litigation in western Monmouth County to be named a 2006 super lawyer, according to a press release.
Mason’s business-related services are geared toward the small and mid-size business, from mom-and-pop businesses to companies generating revenue in excess of $100 million annually.

Ladies Workout Express’ annual FitTEEN program will be offered again this summer, and the owners of two local centers announced that they will participate in the program, which promotes physical fitness for teenage girls.
Beginning June 1, girls ages 13-19 will be able to sign up to use Ladies Workout Express in Marlboro or Ladies Workout Express in Millstone Township, free of charge, until Sept. 1.
Ladies Workout Express features a 30-minute interval circuit that uses resistance training on hydraulic machines and rest stations.

A weekend of children’s yoga classes in Monmouth County will help to raise funds for a global charity.
On June 2-3, Carly Miller and Rhonda Uretzky, certified Level 2 children’s yoga teachers, will hold a “Weekend of Chil-dren’s Yoga,” with profits to benefit Global Exchange, a human rights charity organization (www.globalexchange.com).
The introductory children’s yoga classes will be held in four local yoga studios. Two classes will be held June 2, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Freehold Yoga Center, and from 3-4:30 p.m. at Yoga Anjali in Belmar. On June 3, the classes will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Yoga Diversity in Man-alapan, and from 3-4:30 p.m. at Dancing Foot Yoga in Red Bank.

Arnie Klein, owner of SeaMaster Cruises, Manalapan, recently attended the inaugural sailing of Royal Caribbean International’s Freedom of the Seas. The cruise departed from Cape Liberty for a two-night sailing May 13-15. According to a press release from SeaMaster Cruises, the invitation to attend the ship’s inaugural sailing was extended to only a select number of travel industry experts chosen by Royal Caribbean. The Freedom of the Seas is the world’s newest and largest passenger ship. Klein joined SeaMaster Cruises in 2005.
The Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce will offer a free workshop for local business owners June 1-2. The workshop, “Six Steps to a Better Business,” teaches business owners how to make a major impact on their bottom line by applying simple and effective strategies. The workshop will be presented by local business owner Susan Koval, a certified business coach with Action International, which was founded in 1993 and now has more than 800 franchises around the world.
The free workshop will be held 6:30-9 p.m. June 1 and 7:30-10 a.m. June 2 at the Western Monmouth Chamber of Com-merce, 17 Broad St., Freehold. The Center for Sleep Disorders at CentraState Healthcare System, Freehold Township, has received accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). The five-year accreditation, which was awarded after a comprehensive application process and site visit, is earned by a minority of sleep programs nationally, according to the AASM. CentraState’s Center for Sleep Disorders treats patients age 10 and older.

Rosemarie Mesis of Manalapan has been chosen to receive the New Jersey Licensed Private Investigators Assoc-iation’s 2006 William O’Neill Investigator of the Year award.
Mesis’ selection comes from more than 2,000 investigators represented by the statewide organization. She is only the second woman to ever receive the award, and makes national history with her husband, Jimmie Mesis, also a private investigator, who received the same award in 2003. This marks the first time a husband and wife have individually won Investigator of the Year titles in New Jersey.
Rosemarie Mesis became a private investigator in 1998 after a 23-year career as a paralegal. She is licensed in New Jersey and New York and runs the Freehold-based investigative agency Excerion LLC, which specializes in locating people, including children who have become the victims of custodial kidnappings.
Rosemarie Mesis also co-owns and publishes PI Magazine, the international trade publication for private investigators and law enforcement detectives, as well as the PI Magazine Bookstore. She also serves on the board of directors for PI Gear Inc., an online surveillance equipment supplier of spy gear and investigative tools for private investigators and law enforcement detectives. She also operates PI Buzz (www.PIbuzz.com), the official blog of professional investigators, and recently organized the first-ever World Investigators Conference held in Las Vegas, where more than 1,500 investigators from 22 countries attended.
