Sunrise Senior Living Communities will serve as official sites for National Senior Health and Fitness Day, May 26. Each of its three facilities — Sunrise Assisted Living of East Brunswick, 190 Summerhill Road; Sunrise Assisted Living of Marlboro, 3A South Main St.; and Brighton Gardens of Edison, 1801 Oak Tree Road — will host an open house that day from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Patricia Kelly will open the Marlboro franchise April 26 with a grand opening seminar at 7 p.m. at the Tranquilite Salon & Day Spa, Bea­con Hill Shopping Plaza, Morganville section of Marlboro. The free seminar is open to the public and will feature guest speaker Sue Pelley, who has appeared on HGTV. Pelley and Kelly will share some of the latest in color and design trends, and attendees will see design makeovers and view interiors.
