Freehold Raceway Mall, Freehold Township, will hold its annual Spring Home Show Feb. 6-8 throughout the main concourse areas of the mall, routes 9, 33 and 537.

The event features information and displays from local and national representatives of home products, construction and remodeling products and services, methods of energy conservation, and other products and services for the homeowner. The event will be open during regular mall hours.

The Arc of Monmouth, Tinton Falls, has been awarded the three-year CARF accreditation for the following employment services programs: job development, job supports, job-site training, comprehensive vocational evaluation services, employee development services and organizational employment services, and — for the community — personal and social services programs.

The accreditation outcome represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization, according to a press release from The Arc.

CARF, formerly the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, is an independent not-for-profit accrediting body, whose mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served.

National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Central Jersey Chapter, will hold a networking meeting Feb. 11, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Chetkin Gallery, 9 Wharf Ave., Red Bank. The gallery features artists from Italy, France, England, Spain and China. The cost is $15 for members and $20 for all others. Refreshments, food and wine will be served. The Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association will host a two-hour networking event at the group’s Feb. 6 luncheon. Special guests, prizes, networking coaches and activities will be featured. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet a minimum of 10-20 new contacts in the Central Jersey marketing community. The event is open to the public.

Comcast Cable announced the appointment of Marge Jackson to area marketing director for Central New Jersey cable television systems, serving 370,000 customers. Jackson will be responsible for the performance and daily oversight of all marketing and sales efforts for six Comcast Cable systems — Central, Long Beach Island, Mercer County, Monmouth County, Ocean County and Toms River. She reports to Area Vice President Darren Belick.

Jackson joined Comcast in 1998 as an online direct sales representative. Most recently, she served as director of marketing for Comcast in Broward County, Fla., where she oversaw all sales and marketing activities in the county. Prior to her role in Broward County, Jackson was director of marketing for the recently acquired AT&T system of Washington, D.C.

Jackson earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration and marketing from Pierce College in Philadelphia. She resides in Freehold with her husband and two children.

Anthony J. Caprio has been pro­moted to chairman of the board of trustees for CentraState Healthcare Sys­tem, Freehold Township. He had been vice chairman and succeeds Vincent P. Maltese, who remains on the board.

Also elected to two-year terms as offi­cers at CentraState’s annual meeting on Jan. 8 were Robert D. O’Donnell, elevated from secretary/treasurer to vice chair, and William Lewis, elected secre­tary/treasurer.

Caprio is corporate vice president of Cardinal Health Inc., Northeast Region. He also serves as the commissioner of parks and recreation in Marlboro. He has been a CentraState trustee since 1998 and is also a member of the CentraState Healthcare System Foundation Board of Trustees.

O’Donnell is president and CEO of both Community Bancorp of New Jersey and Community Bank of New Jersey in Freehold. He is a guest lecturer at the Wharton Graduate School, Philadelphia, and serves as director of the New Jersey Bankers Association, Service Corpora­tion, and is chairman of the Community Bankers Committee of the New Jersey Bankers Association. He joined Cen­traState’s board of trustees in 2001.

Lewis is a partner of the accounting firm J.H. Cohn LLP, providing financial, accounting, tax and consulting services primarily to health care providers in the New York metropolitan area. He is a member of several accounting organiza­tions, including the New Jersey Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs and the National Network of Accoun­tants. He is a founding member of the Manalapan Englishtown Education Foundation. He became a board trustee in 2000.

CentraState also recently elected two new trustees, Ruben Cardona and Jack Collins. Cardona is a shareholder at the accounting firm WithumSmith+Brown. He previously served on the CentraState Healthcare System board of trustees from 1994-99.

Collins is president of Fleet N.J. He is a past chairman of the New Jersey Bankers Association and presently serves on its board of trustees as an honorary chairman. He is also a trustee of the Foundation of University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, and currently chairs the Foundation Finance Commit­tee.

Henry A. Stryker III of Freehold was honored recently for his many years of service to Monmouth County. The event took place at an employees awards luncheon sponsored by the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders.

Stryker is first deputy county fire marshal and has been employed at the Monmouth County Fire Academy for 20 years. Freeholder Edward J. Stominski presented Stryker with his service pin.

Central Jersey Women’s Network will hold a dinner meeting Feb. 12, 6-9 p.m., at the Holiday Inn, Tinton Falls. Al­ice Anselmo, vice president and wealth manager with UBS Financial Services Corp., will discuss how to handle debt sensibly and plan important savings strategies.

75 South will host a cooking class Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the restaurant, 75 South St., Freehold. Chef Bruce will con­duct a two-hour class that will feature a menu of melty brie cheese wrapped in puff pastry, sliced fennel and baby aru­gala salad, braised lamb shank with win­ter vegetables, and a frozen rocky road mousse tower.
