Sheila Barbesh

Mrs. Barbesh, 74, of Manalapan, formerly of Freehold, died May 29, 2011, at home. Her family owned and operated the Freehold Pharmacy for 70 years. She received a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising from Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y., in 1958. Mrs. Barbesh was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Barbesh; a brother, Dr. William Sosnow; and a nephew, Martin Rogoff. Surviving are two sons, Eric Barbesh of Manalapan, and Steven Barbesh and his wife, Wendy, of Freehold; a daughter, Wendi Olitsky and her husband, David, of Freehold; five grandchildren; and a brother-in-law and sister in-law, Joseph and Edith Rogoff, of Trenton. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Oheb Shalom Cemetery, Hillside. Memorial donations may be made to Camp Quality New Jersey, P.O.
