Mrs. Riopel, 79, of Marlboro, died May 28, 2013, at Care One at Holmdel. She was a graduate of Holy Family High School, Union City. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Riopel was the food service director for the Marlboro K- 8 School District. She was predeceased by a brother, George Lang; and a sister, Dorothy Busby. Surviving are her husband, Francis A. Riopel; a son and daughter-inlaw, Michael F. and Karla Riopel; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, Marlboro, followed by entombment at the parish mausoleum. Arrangements were by the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
