Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Monmouth County, Marlboro, dedicated a new science lab at a May 28 ceremony. As the school continues to shape its future expansion, the science lab has been completely remodeled to include double the existing square footage, custom-made lab work stations for the students, a mobile teacher’s lab work station, energy-efficient heating, air conditioning and lighting, and updated Smartboards. The completion of the new science lab comes a few months after the unveiling of a new high-tech early childhood wing.

Before joining PHHC, Gallicchio was a senior account executive for Greater Media for more than 10 years, representing two radio stations in the Monmouth County and Ocean County business communities. Gallicchio is a board member of the Howell and Lakewood chambers of commerce, a member of the fashion show fundraising committee for Caregiver Volunteers of New Jersey, the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the New Jersey Broadcasters Association.
Freehold resident Giselle Verdi- Manetto was honored by the YWCA Central New Jersey Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) at the 34th annual awards dinner. Verdi-Manetto is the director of operations for the State Health Benefits Program at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Farmingdale, where she manages the daily activities of Horizon’s largest account. She is a member of the Performance Advisory Group for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, as well as a customer contact center/ claims and Member Touchpoint Measure (MTM) advisory committee member. Ivy League Day Camp, Manalapan, recently hosted “It’s an Amazing Night Out for Autism Speaks,” an event organized for the Autism Speaks Foundation and cochaired by Marissa and Steve Eisenman. Ivy League Day Camp has been a longtime supporter for the foundation, which is a leading autism advocacy organization dedicated to funding research, prevention, treatments, and finding a cure for autism. Ivy League Day Camp services youngsters of all ages and supports many youth organizations in the community. Each summer the camp’s carnival helps to raise money by collecting monetary donations for various youth nonprofit organizations.
