Style Connection, a boutique sales organization representing many manufacturers in the home décor business, recently hosted an open house event for designers to tour its new, expanded showroom in the Justin Corporate Center, 198 Route 9 north, Manalapan. Principal owner Karyl Asch started the business, which serves as a resource for interior designers, five years ago in her home in Marlboro. As business quickly grew, Asch opened her first showroom in the Justin Corporate Center and recently moved to a larger suite. Style Connection carries modern transitional furniture, lighting and accessories by a variety of designers, including Arteriors Home, Patagonia and Kravet. The company’s sales representatives cater to local retailers and designers who serve corporate and residential clients. Style Connection also carries a line of body products and gift items.

Michelle Wolpov, Freehold, owner and executive director of Game Shape Physical Therapy and Medical Fitness Center, Manalapan, has earned her doctorate in physical therapy with emphasis on executive private practice management from the EIM Institute of Health Professions, Kentucky.

Wolpov earned an MBA from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y. Her licenses and certifications include physical therapist, certified athletic trainer, and a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

An active member of the Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, Wolpov is also a member of the Medical Fitness Association; the American Council on Exercise; the National Athletic Trainers Association; the National Strength and Conditioning Association; and the American Physical Therapy Association: New Jersey Chapter, and Orthopedic and Private Practice Sections.

Founded 10 years ago, Game Shape is a 5,000-square-foot full-service physical therapy facility and medical fitness center at 455 Route 9 south, Manalapan. Brio Tuscan Grille, serving upscale affordable Italian cuisine in a unique, Tuscan atmosphere, will open its first restaurant in central New Jersey at the Freehold Raceway Mall, Freehold Township, on May 3. The restaurant will feature made-to-order pastas, grilled and oven-roasted steaks, chops and fresh fish, as well as entrée salads, flatbreads and bruschettas. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Brio offers an extensive brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m. in addition to the regular menu. Brio is a Bravo Brio Restaurant Group concept.

As part of its grand opening, Brio Tuscan Grille will host three “Make a Difference Mondays” and donate a portion of its dinner proceeds to local nonprofit organizations. The “Make a Difference Mondays” are scheduled to be held May 21, June 4 and June 11.

The 7,800-square-foot restaurant is designed to comfortably accommodate 190 diners and 50 guests for bar seating. Also, Brio offers a full-service terrace that accommodates up to 56 guests. In addition to the lunch, brunch and dinner menus, Brio hosts a $3.95 Tuscan Taster Bar menu and $5 drink specials Monday through Friday from 3-7 p.m. and 9 p.m. until closing.

The Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce will host its 18th annual Circle of Excellence Awards Dinner on June 7 at 6 p.m. at the Battleground Country Club, Manalapan. According to Loretta Kuhnert, chamber president, seven organizations and one individual will be honored. Tickets are $100 per person and reservations can be made by calling the chamber at 732-462- 3030.

Kathleen Lockwood of Stewart Title and John McGeehan of CentraState Healthcare System are serving as co-chairs of the chamber’s premier fundraising event.

According to a press release from Arbeitman’s office, upper cervical is a gentle spinal correction that is different from more traditional chiropractic care because it uses a scientific and mathematical approach to aligning the body without twisting, turning or popping the spine.
