This networking event is designed for professionals to mingle and become familiar with other local networking organizations. Baskin-Robbins is inviting area residents to a special grand opening event to celebrate the newly reopened Baskin-Robbins store at 300 Gordons Corner Road in Manalapan (Yorktowne shopping center). On March 3, 68 students from local high schools took part in the second annual free SAT testing and assessment. The program, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Marlboro and administered by Supreme Tutoring of Freehold, was held at the Marlboro Recreation Community Center. A facsimile of an SAT test was administered to the students. During a parents’ workshop, Adam Newman of Supreme Tutoring discussed the SAT scoring and explained other state requirements such as the NJASK and ACT tests. “Kiwanis is proud to sponsor the testing and the parents’workshop free of charge for area residents,” said Carol Mazzola, president of the Kiwanis Club of Marlboro. Individual test results were mailed to the homes of the students who took the practice test. Individual evaluations of each student’s test results were available free of charge directly from Supreme Tutoring.
