Mrs. Murdy, 81, of Howell, died Jan. 19, 2008, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Newark and had lived in Hazlet before moving to Howell more than 40 years ago. Mrs. Murdy was an avid photographer who also loved gardening. She was predeceased by her husband, John G., on Jan. 3, as well as a daughter, Sheila Cornelius, in 1990. Surviving are a son, Russell Murdy of Point Pleasant; two daughters, Eileen Spencer of Manalapan and Donna Annunziata of Jackson; and three grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was private.
