Mia Ventura, a Jazzercise instructor, will offer a citywide “free-for-all” Jazzercise open house, Jan. 1-22 in Manalapan and Freehold. Open house festivities will include information on the Jazzercise program, a raffle, and free workouts for one week. Admission is free and participants should dress to exercise.

The 60-minute Jazzercise class includes a warm-up, high-energy aerobic routines, muscle-toning and cool-down stretch segment. Jazzercise combines elements of dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and more to create programs for people of various ages and fitness levels.

Ventura has been an instructor in the Manalapan and Freehold area for four years. Manalapan classes are held at the Twist ‘N’ Shout Party Club. Freehold classes are held at the Freehold Jewish Center. Class times vary. Child care is available for all morning classes during the week. Kelly D. Gunther, of Freehold, has joined the law firm of Giordano, Halleran and Ciesla. Gunther, of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, concentrates her practice in commercial and general civil litigation with an emphasis on business and real estate litigation, professional liability claims and chancery litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Gunther served as law clerk to Judge Michael Winkelstein of New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. She also served judicial internships with Judge Stanley R. Chesler and Judge John J. Hughes in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Gunther received her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, in 2005, where she was lead notes editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College in 2001. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and is a member of the New Jersey Sate Bar Association.

Corporate Resource Alliance (CRA), a statewide networking and referral organization for business owners, top-level executives, and professionals, has elected its board of trustees for 2007. The officers are Andrew Politi, president; Frances Kirschner, vice president; Patrick McShea, secretary; Tom Mikulski, treasurer; Steve Callahan, member services; and board members Stephen Reed and Robert Flanagan.
