MARLBORO — The Marlboro Zoning Board of Adjustment made a few adjustments for the new year when it held its annual reorganization meeting Jan. 6.
Former Vice Chairman Michael Fishman ended his zoning board term on Dec. 31.
Two new members have joined the zoning board, while one alternate member has moved into a regular board member position.
Jennifer Bajar, who served as alternate one, has been appointed to serve as a regular member of the zoning board for a four-year term. Taking Bajar’s place as alternate one is Paul Schlaflin, who will serve a two-year term on the zoning board.
Michael Shapiro was appointed to the zoning board as a regular member for a four-year term.
Board members re-elected Glenn Malysz as chairman and elected board member Robert Knight to serve as vice chairman for 2009. Board member Lewis Wildman, who was absent from the reorganization meeting, was elected to serve as the board’s secretary.
The zoning board will maintain the same professionals who served the panel in 2008. Michael Steib will be the board’s attorney, David Thesing will serve as the board’s engineer and Thomas Scangarello will serve as the board’s planner.
Marlboro zoning officer Sarah Paris said the board does not have a traffic engineer as resumes for that appointment are still being received.
