Dr. Mandelbaum, 77, of Lakewood, died March 2, 2008, atMeridian Subacute Care Center, Wall Township. Formerly of Paramus, he received a master’s degree from New York University and a doctorate from William Paterson University, Wayne. Before his retirement, Dr. Mandelbaum was supervisor of the Industrial Arts Department for the Paterson Board of Education. He is survived by his wife, Dolores; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marc and Phyllis Mandelbaum ofMarlboro, and Eric and Jacqueline Mendelbaum of Warren; a sister, Lenore Schwager of Cortland, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.
