Mr. Muldowney, 50, of Freehold Township, died May 21, 2008, at home. He began his career as a roofer’s apprentice and went on to operate his own roofing company.Mr.Muldowney was a master craftsman and built many homes. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph ThomasMuldowney. He is survived by his wife, Trish Schwartz; two stepchildren, Brooke and Brandi Schwartz; his mother, Marion Muldowney of Watchung; a brother, Joseph Muldowney Jr.; and three sisters, Marianne Dickerson, Anne McKimm and Fran Viggiano. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, under the direction of the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home. Interment was private. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Fund, Hackensack University Medical Center, 360 Essex St., Suite 301, Hackensack, NJ 07601-8556.
