MONROE — On Thursday July 10 at 8:47a.m., the Monroe Township Police Department responded to the TD Bank at 162 Prospect Plains Road for a reported hold up/robbery.
According to a press release from the police department, a male suspect entered the bank and approached the teller, handed the teller a note and demanded money. The teller complied, and after receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled the bank on foot heading west on Prospect Plains Road. No weapon was shown.
Monroe police report that the suspect is a white male described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build and olive skin wearing a dark colored baseball cap with a New York Jets logo, an orange T-shirt with a logo on the left breast pocket over a long-sleeve dark shirt and dark sweat pants with white stripes along the legs.
