Mrs. Olsen, 79, of South River, died Dec. 6, 2011, in Golden Living Center, Old Bridge. She was a past president of the South River Board of Health. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Olsen; two grandchildren, Samantha and Chase Olsen; and a son-in-law, Arthur Grocholske. Surviving are a daughter, Debra Grocholske of Stroudsburg, Pa.; three sons, Bruce, and his wife, Susan, and Russell, and his wife, Lisa, all of South River, and Kyle, and his wife, Maureen, of Jackson; two sisters, Barbara Schwartz of Pennsylvania and Geraldine Dunham of Arizona; and seven grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Cremation was private. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
