The Sayreville Leprechauns Football and Cheerleading Association will kick off the season and celebrate its 50th anniversary with a picnic and fundraiser set for 1-6 p.m. Aug. 13 at Burke’s Park, 777 Washington Road, Sayreville.
Activities will include a “bouncy house,” a rock-climbing wall and a dunk tank. There will be a punt/pass and kicking contest for every division; a prize will go to each winner.
Cost is $10 for youngsters ages 5-17, $20 for adults; price includes free anniversary mug, food, soda, water and activities. Beer and wine will be available for $2 a mug. Outside beverages will not be permitted.
A50/50 drawing is scheduled; tickets will be on sale 6-8 p.m. Mondays-Fridays beginning Aug. 1 at the concession stand.
