Walter A. Hastings Jr.

Mr. Hastings, 57, of East Brunswick, died May 27 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. The owner of Walt’s Organ Service, he also was employed by MidState Bowl, East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Mozdzen Hastings; a son, Walter Hastings III; four daughters, Donna Doubt of Brick, and Christine Estevez, Noelle LeBuis and Wendy Hastings, all of East Brunswick; his mother, Ruth Hastings of East Brunswick; a brother, Andrew Hastings of Florida; and four grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.

Frances D. Conticchio

Mrs. Conticchio, 90, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of East Brunswick, died June 7 in Palms of Pasadena Hospital, St. Petersburg. Prior to her retirement, she was a press operator at Loyal T. Ives Co., New Brunswick. A daughter, Frances Sissick, died in 1998. Surviving are her husband, Alexander Conticchio; three grandsons, Kenneth Bender of Willingboro, Ronald Bender of Coal Township, Pa., and Steven Bender of Raritan; a stepsister, Peggy Rider of Pottstown, Pa.; a stepbrother, Carl Derix of Spring City, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Mary Derix of Spring City; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation is set for 6-9 p.m. on June 15 at Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown. A funeral liturgy is planned for 10 a.m. on June 16 at Our Lady of Peace Church, North Brunswick. Frank Daddio Sr.

Mr. Daddio, 86, of East Brunswick, died June 6 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. His wife, Clara Ciecko Daddio, died in 1998. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Frank and Jody Daddio of Benton, Pa., and John Daddio of East Brunswick; and two grandchildren, Michael and Susan. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.

Mary C. Schaidaresis Visinski

Mrs. Visinski, 41, of Helmetta, formerly of Monroe, died June 9 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was a secretary for Top Driver, East Brunswick, where she worked since 1983. Surviving are her husband, Andrew Visinski; her father, Christopher Schaidaresis, and his wife, Anne, of Metuchen; her mother, Gloria Cannon of Monroe; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Arlene and Edward Visinski of Lacey; two sisters, Frances Neues and Claire Kelly, both of Monroe; her maternal grandmother, Gloria Farley of Spotswood; and a niece and two nephews. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Marjorie C. Cohen Jurist

Mrs. Jurist, 92, of Monroe, died May 30 at home. Her husband, Jonas, died in 2000. Surviving are a son, Harold Jurist of Boca Raton, Fla.; a daughter, Susan Citrenbaum; four grandchildren, Richard and Ronald Citrenbaum, Stephen Jurist and Lisa Romm; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering was held at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements were under the direction of Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.

Vivienne Mendelsohn Strahs

Mrs. Strahs, 88, of Monroe, died June 2 at home. Her husband, Dr. Raymond Strahs, died in 2005. Surviving are two daughters, Roberta Diament of Budd Lake and Bonnie Strahs of Philadelphia; two brothers, Jack Mendelsohn of Paterson and Kenneth Mendelsohn of East Paterson; a sister, Eleanor Mendelsohn of Paterson; and a granddaughter. Services were held at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus. Arrangements were under the direction of Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Brandeis Women’s Association.

Joseph Davino

Mr. Davino, 80, of Monroe, died June 8 in The Elms of Cranbury. Prior to his retirement in 1987, he was employed as a foreman with Buck Brothers Construction Co., East Brunswick, where he worked for 20 years. Surviving are his wife, Sophie Betlow Davino; a son, Joseph of Jamesburg; a daughter, Sue Ann Medley of Jackson; two brothers, Felix of Keyport and Louis of Monroe; three sisters, Rosie Siconilfi of Cranbury, Carmella Scotto of Ithaca, N.Y., and Sue Frank of Totowa; and four grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. James Church, Jamesburg. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick.

Marcia L. Agans Zangara

Mrs. Zangara, 61, of North Brunswick, died June 5 at home. She was the assistant manager at New Brunswick Savings Bank, North Brunswick, for 25 years, retiring in 1993. Surviving are her husband, Dominick Zangara; two sons, Louis Zangara of Sherwood, Ore., and Richard Zangara of North Brunswick; a sister, Diana Miller of Milltown; and one grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Sacred Heart Church, New Brunswick. Entombment was in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.

Carolyn Blaylock

Mrs. Blaylock, 58, of Bristol, Tenn., formerly of Edison, died June 5 in Wilmont Hospice, Bristol. She was predeceased by her parents, Adeline and Harold Miller. Surviving are two daughters, Cheri Odum of Bristol, Va., and Carrie Blaylock of Bristol, Tenn.; a brother, David Miller of Califon; four sisters, Nancy McFadden of Old Bridge, Catherine Small of East Brunswick, Janet Boutillier of Lopatcong and Grace Kropiewnick of Bear, Del.; two nieces and three nephews, three grandchildren; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Till, 77, of St. Michaels, Md., formerly of North Brunswick, died June 5 in Easton Memorial Hospital, Easton, Md. He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret. Surviving are his wife, Jane Clark Till; two sons, Jeffrey Till of Henderson, Nev., and Bruce Till of Gaithersburg, Md.; a sister, Joyce Szabo of Milltown; a brother, Tracy Till of Deltona Beach, Fla.; and a grandson.
