Extends gratitude for concern, condolences

This letter is to our dear neighbors in East Brunswick, Boy Scout Troop No. 61 and all the teachers and friends in Lawrence Brook Elementary School, East Brunswick.

Our family lost our 9-year-old Thomas this past Christmas Eve, and his mom, Young Lee, suffered injury in the accident which occurred at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of Ryders Lane and Corona Road in East Brunswick.

We deeply thank all of you for your concern and condolences, which gave us strength and courage in a difficult time. We thank all of you who came to Thomas’ funeral and shared the grief with us. We regret that we were not able to see each one of you in person and to say thank you. We also regret that we could not answer all of your thoughtful cards sent to Thomas and the family.

We promise that we will do our best to get over the grief and live our lives fully. Please be kind and pray for Thomas and our family. We thank you again, and we will always remember your warm hearts and your kindness. May God bless all of you and your families, and may God’s love be with you.

Thank you very much.

Hyung, Young and Richard Lee
