Mr. Erdek, 35, of Dundalk, Md., formerly of SouthAmboy and Sayreville, died June 21, 2011, at home. Surviving are his companion, Sharon Jeffrey-Luettee; a son, Samuel R. Erdek; a stepson, Michael Luettee; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Luettee; his parents, John O. Erdek of Dundalk and Mary Jo McGrath Erdek of Loris, S.C.; four siblings, Marijo E. Erdek, Curt P. Erdek, Richard G. Erdek and Elizabeth R. Erdek; his maternal grandmother, Rose McGrath; and four nieces and nephews. Aservice was held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville.
