Mr. Nelson, 55, of Old Bridge, died June 3, 2011, at home. Prior to his retirement in 2001, he was employed as a janitor with East Brunswick Public Schools for many years. Surviving are two brothers, Lloyd Jr., and his wife, Teresa, of Manalapan and Robert, and his wife, Ethel Reid, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Lori Bruns of Old Bridge, Joan Cavezza, and her husband, Jerry, of Milltown and Annette Baughn, and her husband, Duke, of Cornersville, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews. Interment was private. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
