Mr. Beyer, 67, died May 21, 2010, at Southern Ocean County Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., Mr. Meyer lived in East Brunswick, Winston-Salem, N.C., New Canaan, Conn. and Lewiston, N.Y., before moving to Little Egg Harbor. He had a long career in corporate administration with NY Telephone, Johnson & Johnson, Sara Lee Corp., Sunshine Biscuits, and Marcal Paper Mills, from which he retired in 2003 as director of sales operations. Surviving are his wife, Marie O’Neill Beyer; a son, Sean; a daughter, Michelle; a brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Patricia Beyer of Denver, N.C.; and a granddaughter. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
