MONROE — For six years, the Stonebridge Men’s Club has been actively supporting the Monroe Township community.
This year, the Men’s Club supported two local organizations through its fundraising efforts.
The first recipient was the Academy Learning Center, which serves approximately 140 children who have autism or multiple disabilities.
The Men’s Club raised $10,000 to buy six Apple iPads and one 64-inch Smart Board for the students.
The second recipient was the Monroe Township Food Pantry, which supports residents who are struggling with life situations.
The Men’s Club supported the Food Pantry with a $10,000 donation.
The money was raised through a golf outing and by creating a Stonebridge community calendar that featured advertisements from area businesses.
