‘A German Life’ author at Beit Shalom

Congregation Beit Shalom of Monroe Township will present Dr. Bernd Wollshlaeger, author of “A German Life,” 2 p.m. April 29 at the synagogue. The son of a highly decorated World War II German tank commander who had kept his past hidden from his family, Dr. Wollshlaeger describes his life as a young man seeking the truth about his past and the road that led him to his conversion to Judaism and emigration to Israel.
