Friends of E.B. Seniors
to host lunch and show
The Friends of the East Brunswick Senior Center will present a fund-raiser featuring The Bobby Byrne Show on Sept. 16 at the Senior Center, Jean Walling Civic Center.
A catered buffet is set for 1 p.m. The show will begin at 2 p.m.
Cost is $35 per person.

Monroe Dems meeting
The opening fall meeting of the Monroe Township Democratic Club will take place at 8 p.m. on Sept. 11 at Monroe Township High School, Perrineville Road.
Guest speaker will be Sheriff Sam Plumeri of Mercer County, Democratic candidate for Assembly in the 14th District. Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein and Assemblyman Gary Guear, Democratic candidates for re-election in the 14th, also will be in attendance.
All three candidates will take questions from the audience.
