Mr. Cholewa, 88, of Sayreville, died July 8, 2008. After retiring as a carpenter with Local No. 1064, Milltown, he and his late wife owned and operated the Jernee Mill Inn, Sayreville, for many years. His wife, Helen E. Hardy Cholewa, died in 2006. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Trzaska of East Brunswick and LaVerne Cholewa of Mansfield; a sister, Stella Cholewa; a brother, Edward, and his wife, Phyllis; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery.
