Mr. Kovacs, 82, of South River, died Nov. 6, 2008, in Cranbury Center, Monroe. Prior to his retirement in 1992, he was employed as a foreman with Johnson and Johnson, North Brunswick, where he worked for 30 years. He also owned the Vienna Café, New Brunswick, and several other bars and restaurants. His wife, Julia Kosa Kovacs, died in 2004. Surviving are a son, Frank Kovacs Jr., and his wife, Laurie, of East Brunswick; and a granddaughter, Julianna. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.
