• Coop’s Jukebox Dinner and Dance, featuring music of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s, sponsored by the Chris Cooper Scholarship Fund, 7 p.m. to midnight, at Palms Plaza Caterers, Park Plaza, Route 34, Old Bridge. Dinner, dancing, raffles, scavenger hunt, open bar. Event will raise money for the scholarship fund, named in honor of Cooper, a 1999 Old Bridge High School (OBHS) graduate who pitched for the high school baseball team and died as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 2003. • "From Klassical to Kermit the Frog," fundraising concert featuring popular and light music for all ages, starring baritone Glenn Boothby and accompanist Jan Niemann, sponsored by Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7:30 p.m., at the church, 568 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.
