Sayreville Pet Adoption Center, 1400 Main St., Sayreville, hopes to make 7/7/07 a lucky day for the dozens of kittens in its care when it hosts a Lucky Sevens Kitten Shower from noon to 4 p.m. on July 7.
Admission is free of charge, but guests are asked to bring a can of kitten/cat food or KMR kitten milk for the “wishing well.” In addition, guests who make a $7 donation to sponsor a kitten for one week will be entered into a drawing to win a new cat carrier. Many kittens and adult cats also will be available for adoption. Opportunities to foster kittens and/or volunteer at the shelter will be offered.
