Birthright of Greater Red Bank celebrates 35 years

RED BANK — Volunteers for the Red Bank Chapter of Birthright, a global organization with the mission to help pregnant women-in-crisis and their babies, are planning the nonprofit’s 35th anniversary celebration luncheon.

The event will be held on Sept. 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Branches in West Long Branch. All are invited to attend.

Karen Fitzgerald, director of the Red Bank chapter and Birthright volunteer for 30 years, said in a press release that volunteers provide caring, nonjudgmental support to girls and women who are distressed by an unplanned pregnancy.
