BELLE MEAD — Josephine (Pugliese) Di Benedetto died Friday, July 28 at home. She was 81.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y. she lived in Irvington before moving to Hillsborough Township in 1965.
She was a seamstress in New York City and Newark for many years.
Mrs. DiBendetto was a homemaker.
Her husband, Filippo DiBenedetto, died in 1974.
Surviving are a son, Rosario R. of Somerville; a daughter, Marie A. Eannucci of Belle Mead; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 31 at Hillsborough Funeral Home, Hillsborough, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Millstone.
