Iranian film to be shown
Friday, Aug. 4, a 1998 Iranian film, "The Mirror," will be shown at the Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza, Monroe, at 2 and 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $1 and are available at the library.
Sculpture to be presented
Saturday, Aug. 5, 1 p.m., the Cultural Arts Commission will present a new sculpture, "Odyssey," from the Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission to the township at the Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza, Monroe.
Folk music program
Saturday, Aug. 5, 2 p.m., the Cultural Arts Commission will present "Folk Music into the New Millennium" by Dave Fry at the Monroe library. This program is about the history of folk music and its influence on modern acoustic music. Mr. Fry plays the banjo and the guitar.
