Fix these problems before revitalization

To the editor:
Before Manville embarks on revitalizing the whole town, I have inquired of many citizens and young people of what is now the first things Manville needs to now. Here is what most residents want or made a complaint of what is needed now.
‡ Two traffic lights: one at 13th Avenue and Brooks Boulevard., one at 13th Avenue and Camplain Road. This is the route most school children use.
‡ Reduced truck traffic on Brooks Boulevard. with a posted speed limit.
‡ Signs at both ends of town noting that the railroad underpass is 13 feet 2 inches .
‡ Adesa trucks should use the entrance at McDonald’s. This was agreed upon.
‡ Crosswalks on the full length of Main Street every block replaces pedestrian right-of-way signs.
‡ Yield signs at North Main Street underpass. Also to relieve traffic on Main Street, a right turn at Perhach’s Tavern.
‡ Too many trucks and buses speeding past the 25-mph limit on West Camplain Road
‡ Cars and trucks at stop street at Main and Camplain Road go through red light and stop on walkway waiting for light. Also too many go through the red light.
‡ There are no sidewalks to go to the new mall. If you don’t have a car, you must walk in the road to go to the mall or cross illegally.
‡ The mall retention basins are all clogged with oil and are seeping into the ground plus a mosquito haven.
These are the things that can be done at a minimum cost, but it is cheaper than causing major problems.?
