YARDLEY, Pa. – Lucille W. Zahler, 78, died Aug. 3 at Manor Care, Yardley.
Born in Lawrence, she was an area resident most of her life.
Mrs. Zahler was a former member of Girl Scout Troop 1 and Girl Scout Mounted Troop. She enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Hopewell Valley Golf Club.
She volunteered for Helene Fuld Hospital 16 years and the Trenton Soup Kitchen.’
Daughter of the late William and Anna Walter, and wife of the late Alfred Zahler, she is survived by a brother, William Walter of Lawrence, and two nephews, Robert and John Walter of Newtown.
Memorial service was Aug. 9 at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church.
