Donald R. Furman, 75, died Oct. 19 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Boston.
Born in Trenton, he was a longtime Lawrenceville resident.
Mr. Furman retired in 1990 from Fort Monmouth as a purchasing agent with the U.S. government, and had worked in the same capacity in private business for many years.
Son of the late Francis J. and Victoria Kusminder Furman and husband of the late Rae Fabrizio Furman, he is surived by a son, Donald R. Jr. of Boston; three daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria and Edwin Hatley of Yardville, Patricia Furman-Liedtka and Jim Liedtka of Scituate, Mass., and Vickie and Rich Widmann of Mercerville; a brother, Francis J. of Woodbridge; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Garden of Peace Mausoleum, Hamilton, with the Rev. Edward Dougherty officiating.
