Mary Wilson

   HIGHTSTOWN – Mary R. Wilson, 103, died Oct. 10 at Meadow Lakes Retirement Community.
   Born in South Freeport, Maine, she resided in Appleton, Wis.; Omaha, Neb.; Luxor, Egypt, and Chicago before moving to Meadow Lakes in 1974.
   Mrs. Wilson worked for three years running the laboratory at the medical school hospital at the American University of Beirut.
   She graduated from Smith College in 1919 and was trained as a bacteriologist.
   She enjoyed trraveling and visited more than 50 countries, where she collected native jewelry and charm boxes. Mrs Wilson enjoyed classical music and the arts.
   Wife of the late John A. Wilson, mother of the late Constance Wilson and grandmother of the late Margaret Lane Myers, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret W. and Stanley F. Myers of Blue Hill, Maine; a son and daughter-in-law, F. Thomas and Joan B. Wilson of Princeton; eight gradnchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
