Lillian L. Houghton Collier, 82, died Sunday at Meadow Lakes, Hightstown.
Born in Highland Park, she lived in Milltown, Bernardsville, and was a resident of Rossmoor before moving to the Meadow Lakes community in Hightstown in 1990. In addition, she was a winter resident of Boca Raton, Fla.
In the communities in which she resided over the years, she was active with the United Methodist Church and volunteered at several local hospitals.
She was an avid golfer and artist.
Her twin brothers, William and Edward Houghton are deceased. Surviving are her husband, Fred R. Collier; two daughters, Carol Kuhlthau of Princeton and Susan Ehrnstrom of Forked River; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday at Quackenboss Funeral Home, New Brunswick. Burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery, North Brunswick.
