Sarantis G. Psyllos, 74, died Oct. 14 at Capital Health System at Fuld hospital, Trenton.
Born in Chios, Greece, he moved to Lawrenceville in 1966.
He retired from U.S. Steel Fairless Works and served with the Greek Navy during World War II.
Son of the late George and Kyriaki Galanos Psyllos and father of the late Elias, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Eleni Psyllos; two sons and daughters-in-law, George and Maria of Clinton and Steve and Linda of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Elias, Olga, Stephanie, Eleni and Sarantis; a sister, Despina Koutelos of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral was from M. William Murphy Funeral Home, Hamilton.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
