Democrat Pari Stave and Republican Alan Danser win committee seats.
Incumbent Republican Alan Danser and Democrat Pari Stave were elected to three-year terms on the Cranbury Township Committee.
Ms. Stave will join Democrats Thomas Gambino and Greg Overstreet on the committee, giving them a 3 to 2 committee majority.
Ms. Stave led all vote getters with 828 votes. Mr. Danser followed with 739, Richard Stannard received 702 and incumbent Republican Art Hasselbach garnered 652 votes.
This will be Mr. Danser’s eighth three-year term on the Township Committee. He first ran for committee in 1979. Since then, he has served 21 years on the committee, 12 years as mayor. This will be Ms. Stave’s first term on the Township Committee.
