MANVILLE — Leo E. Kopsco died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at home. He was 74.
He was born in Manville and resided in South River and Sayreville before settling in Manville 14 years ago.
Mr. Kopsco was a battery inspector with Witco Corporation in Woodcliff for 34 years.
He served in the US Navy during World War II.
He was a member of the Thomas J. Kavanaugh Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2290 in Manville.
Mr., Kopsco was predeceased by a son, Pfc. David Kopsco, of the U.S. Marines in 1968. He also was predeceased by three brothers, Al, Bill and Steve Kopsco.
Surviving are a son, Daniel of Sayreville; a daughter, Elaine Bigler of Edison; a brother, Barney K. of Easton, Pa.; and one grandchild.
Private funeral arrangements were under the direction of Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, Manville.
