MANVILLE — John T. Swisher died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at Coral Springs Medical Center in Coral Springs, Fla. He was 45.
Born in Somerville, he lived most of his life in Manville and for the past 10 years lived in Broward County, Fla.
He was employed as a gas station manager at Pompano Amoco while living in Florida, and formerly owned and operated J&B Auto Body in Piscataway.
Mr. Swisher was a former member of the Somerville Eagles.
His father, Ernest Swisher, died in 1982. His mother, Virginia Evans Swisher, died in 1994.
Surviving are three brothers, Ernest J. III, David W. and Joseph P., of Manville.
Funeral services were held Dec. 4 at Bruce C. Van Ardsdale Funeral Home, Somerville.
