Mary Elizabeth Walsh, 81, died Sunday, Dec. 31, at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Center at Morris Hall.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Walsh had taught third grade at Cathedral School in Trenton and worked at the La Rae Shoppe in Trenton.
She graduated from Georgian Court College in 1941.
Wife of the late Cantwell Walsh Sr. and daughter of the late Charles and Katherine McLaughlin McCullough, she is survived by a son, Cantwell Walsh Jr. of Concord, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 716 Bellevue Ave., Trenton.
Burial will be in Ewing Church Cemetery.
The calling hour will be 10 a.m. until Mass at the church.
