Minor damage reported in Saturday incident.
Princeton Borough Police are investigating a break-in and arson at Princeton High School early Saturday morning.
The fire caused minor damage to the door and carpet in the school’s administrative wing, police said.
Police responded to a fire alarm and burglar alarm Saturday morning. When they got to the school, they found that an exterior window leading into the administrative offices was broken. Police then went into the building with the school custodial staff and discovered that someone had entered the school through the broken window and tried set fire to the door in Principal John Kazmark’s office.
Fire Chief Henry Tamasi said fire officials were on the scene about 45 minutes.
Police had no suspects and the case remained under investigation.
