Carol Ann Ciocan Offenburger, 53, died Tuesday Feb. 27 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
She was born in New Brunswick and was a longtime resident of South Brunswick.
A1969 graduate of William Paterson University in Wayne, she was a school teacher in the Jamesburg public school system for the past 31 years. In addition, she was a former president and past district officer of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 2319 in Milltown, and was a member of the Jamesburg Education Association.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Offenburger; a son, Fred Offenburger of South Orange and her father, George Ciocan of Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3 at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by an 8:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Old Bridge. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 2 at the funeral home.
